Does anyone care any more?
It appears to be un-cool to walk 5 yards to dispose of litter in the proper place.

Redcar High Street has become a collection point for everyone's discarded chewing gum, occupying almost EVERY BLOCK PAVING STONE in the street.

Rubbish bins, (yes, some people are responsible members of society and use the correct means of disposal), when full, overflow into the streets. They get emptied ONLY ONCE PER DAY.

Have the council ever thought of employing an afternoon shift too? Maybe it's too much to ask for!
Maybe it's never been thought of.

When you see someone vandalise property, deface a bus shelter, throw down litter, empty their car ashtray into the parking lot - SAY SOMETHING - TELL SOMEONE...

...BUT:

DON'T let them get away with it. If YOU do, then YOU condone it and it will happen again and again.
