Look at the arial photograph below. Comments in the 'comments' section of this website have called for extra lighting in Redcar for 'recreational' purposes.

Two areas that would benefit the town are the footpath on the 'beach side' of Redcar Stray and also the footpath between Majuba Road and the Boating Lake, again, on the 'beach side'.

From the photo you can see how much extra 'safe walkway' would be created, especially on those winter dark nights. It would also make these areas safer places to walk.

YES IT WOULD COST A BIT, BUT IT WOULD BE WORTH IT.

APPORTION THE COST OVER 2-3 YEARS.
